    Most of the visitors are budget travellers and the biggest challenge for them is to get by with as little money as possible while exploring a destination. There are many who will laugh away your idea of visiting Mexico on a small amount of budget. But I know it is very much possible if you make a wise planning. Instead of carrying loads of cash, take credit cards as well as travellers’ checks. This is because; it is you who first need to ensure your security. Here are some other tips for the travellers ahead of their trip to Mexico.

    Water & Laundry

    As a backpacker, you can manage with a very few clothes while travelling in Mexico or most of the other sub-tropical zones. It will save your troubles of carrying a heavy luggage. And you cannot simply dump your clothes in a bag; instead, need to get them washed. Washing in a foreign laundry may cost you more. When it comes to drinking water in certain parts of Mexico, you need to be extra careful. Water must be purified before consumption. Even Halazone tablets may not be fully effective. The best is to boil drinking water if possible.

    Safe Passage

    To ensure a safe journey during your stay in Mexico, think about joining a caravan. travel state, which is a government website, claims that thousands of vacationers visit Mexico safely day in and day out. However, you must take precautions for your safety. If possible, avoid carrying cash. Even if you need to carry it, take only a paltry sum that you will not rue losing. Never carry flashy items like expensive jewellery or high-end gadgets. Don’t forget to report to your local embassy while travelling Mexico. And you know what – safe travel is equal to less expensive travel.

    With whom to travel

    It is always better to travel with a group. You will feel safe and be talking with your co-backpackers will relieve your boredom as well. What if you are travelling on your own? Find out some other folks whom you can gel with easily. There are several websites where you can get ideas about backpacking before your visit to Mexico. Some of these websites have messages from thousands of potential backpackers around the world. You can also get some wonderful low-cost travel ideas for visiting Mexico.

    There are multiple ways to get around in Mexico safely. If you are adventurous, camping in a rented vehicle is a thrilling idea. What about RV Caravan? Well, that also sounds great. However, that might not be convenient for all tourists especially if you have your own list of priorities. The choice is ultimately up to you….
